At school, Kirstie is a great source of funny quotes. I don't always remember them all, though.

On self confidence:

K: Don't worry -- no matter how good you feel about yourself, they'll always find another reviewer out there to bring you down a notch.

On characterizing stress during a post-doc:

T: It comes in waves, doesn't it?

K: The problem is that the waves are starting to overlap.

They say it's your peers that get you through grad school. I'm lucky to have a few mentors, too!
